Guillaume Simoneau is a Montreal-based artist recognized by both the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. His work has been focusing mainly on change and its surroundings. "It's the simultaneous presence of extreme strength and extreme vulnerability that fascinates me; the unique and fleeting coexistence of strength and weakness." Simoneau is currently working with Mr David Liss, Artistic Director of the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, as well as Mr Henry Bernadet, Director of the feature film À l'Ouest de Pluton, on the publication of Après-Bal / After Prom. This first monograph is due for 2012.
