Aydin Matlabi, young Canadian photographer, from Iranian descent. Left a country of war for the social liberty of Quebec. His open minded view and easy going attitude let him blend in with his subjects. His artistic craft is immaculate, however it is his understanding that the subjects make his work fine art. Traveling the globe and befriending a variety of cultures, Aydin tries to understand the world he lives in while depicting his emotions in his work. Presently doing his master’s degree, Aydin’s work has reached a new level where he is able to incorporate the medium of documentary photography, the narrative of art history, and the theoretical understanding of pop culture.
