Biography

Meera Margaret Singh is a visual artist based in Montréal. She holds a BA in Anthropology (1997); BFA in Photography (2004) and is a candidate to the Master's of Fine Arts degree at Concordia University, Montréal. Singh is motivated by a desire to attain and elicit some form of intimacy through her practice. Singh's work has been exhibited across North America, she has been the recipient of several residencies and awards. Her first solo exhibition, You're All That I Ever Think About, was exhibited at the Platform Centre For Photographic + Digital Arts, Winnipeg in 2006. Her thesis exhibition, Nightingale, opens September 10th at Les Territoires gallery in Montréal.
