Hans Ning is a Canadian born artist of Chinese descent who lives and works in Montreal. His work addresses his heritage, and cultural and social inheritance. His photographic images are narrative based, tableaux style, large-scale color prints that explore his childhood memories and experiences, and his new role as a father. His latest body of work entitled Fatherhood is a portrait of his family life. Hans Ning has shown his work in Montreal in a selection of group shows and has just completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a major in Photography, at Concordia University.
