Material Applied is an experimental design exhibition, which looks to explore the relationship between object and material through the facets of design. Designers are asked to experiment with the idea of what one considers material, by finding the potential use in matter, which is often overlooked. Through the creation of functional works, the unique properties of these chosen materials become apparent as viable options in the future creation of new design solutions.
